Hi again!

Well I have just recovered from a tonsilectomy. I had to stay out of work for 2 weeks and I will be returning tomorrow. It's always hard getting back into to the swing of things. Oh well, it's just two days this week and then I get the weekend!

One of my guinea pigs Joshua died last night (Wednesday, December 12 at 7:54pm). He was suffering from an upper respiratory infection that was in the final stages and caught too late. We did everything we could to nurture him back to health. He was on pain killer for a couple of days because of the body aches, antibiotics, supplements because he wasn't eating any of his regular food. He had difficulty breathing the past couple of weeks as well. It was so heart wrenching watching him die and not being able to do anything to stop it. He died cuddled up in my arms. Never in my entire life have I witnessed an animal die in front of my eyes. it's one of the worse experiences in the world.

I started my new job today. It's going to be a lot of work but at least it's fun! I have my own office with a window, a TV with cable, 2 computers (one is strictly for video editing), and I still can't get over the benefits and pay they are starting me with! Thank you God!

I got the job!!!! I am now the Promotion Writer-Producer for CW! The station that plays shows like Top Model, One Tree Hill, Smallville, etc. I am responsible for doing special events like the Top Model search, Beauty and the Geek search as a couple of examples, promo parties, writing commercials for upcoming episodes, promos, and public service announcements. I start after Thanksgiving and the pay & benefits are REAL nice!! I'm excited and nervous!

OMG it's been about 2 months since my last post! Not much has been going on. I'm still with my boyfriend since February. I'm going for my driver's license this Friday (I'm 23 and should have gotten it by now, yes I know lol). I'm still working full time at the bank and I got a raise. I will be working on my next documentary this summer once I get everything in my life in place, then I can focus on my films again. This next documentary is about the creation story in Genesis and how the Big Bang Theory is used as a scientific way of explaining the story found in Genesis. There's a huge controversy between Christians and scientists regarding the creation of the universe, so this should be good. Hey I'm still here! Here's a quick update:

1) I have a boyfriend of 1 month now.
2) I'm getting a car FINALLY!!!
3) I'm working on getting my driver's license FINALLY!
4) I'm now a certfied producer for the local community channel and pretty soon I will be able to use their equipment to make more documentaries.
5) I'm still working at the bank, waiting for my dream job in TV to come my way but at least I'm getting an income until that happens.
6) I still have weird dreams. The latest was a couple of weeks ago about a truck falling over a bridge and then recently in the news I found out that a bus carrying like 29 people drove off a bridge in Alabama I think. Crazy stuff!

That's about all! I'll try to update more often, I've been so busy!

Last night I went out to dinner with Sarah (& her uh boyfriend?), and Reggie, this sweet guy I've been seeing/talking to since June but not officially dating I guess haha And then we went to the Nutcracker ballet, it was really cool. It was my 3rd time seeing it, I think I might go every year. Reggie gave me a really great Christmas present! He gave me a gift card for spa services (I've been in a real need to go to the spa and do some serious stress releasing), and this cool spa bath jelly thing. I absolutely love him to death for getting me that! It was really nice of him =) And everyone please pray for him. He is scheduled to deploy to Afghanistan for an entire year starting in January and he is having a rough time right now with the unit he is in and really wants to get permission to switch to a better unit, which would also stop him from being deployed if that happens and I REALLY want him to stay! So pray for that, time is running out =(

Well I may be too busy the next couple of weeks so Merry Christmas, Happy Hannukah, Happy Kwanzaa, and have a smashing New Year!

Apparently it really did come true! Several people told me that there was a lot of devastating flooding in that area like the weekend before the 4th of July. Crazy isn't it???

P.S. Isaac's heart worm treatment went well the past few months. We took him to the vet this past week and found out he no longer has it (woo hoo!).
